Man appears on gun charge

A MAN, who appeared on a gun charge arising out of a shooting in which a young girl was wounded, has feud links, Limerick District Court heard yesterday.

Christopher Curtin, aged 38, of Salvia Court, Southill is charged with possessing a semi-automatic shotgun with intent to endanger life and also having 13 cartridges.

The charges arise from a shooting which occurred on May 31 at Lilac Court, Southill in which a girl aged six received pellet wounds to the leg.
