A MAN described as a leading organised crime figure who wounded a young girl out playing when he shot at rival gang members has been jailed for seven years.

A GIRL aged six was hit by gunfire from the occupants of two cars that sped through a built-up housing estate, Limerick Circuit Court has heard.

A MAN, who appeared on a gun charge arising out of a shooting in which a young girl was wounded, has feud links, Limerick District Court heard yesterday.
