Plain sailing at ‘best ever’ Cork Week

COMPETITORS, organisers and spectators alike judged ACC Bank Cork Week 2008 to be the best so far.

A redesigned site village layout, challenging courses and more on-site entertainment than before combined to make it a week to remember.

“I’m very happy and very tired,” said Tony Donworth, chairman of Cork Week 2008. “I think we lived up to our reputation as being one of the premier regattas anywhere in the world.”
