If you don’t understand it, don’t vote for it, says Adams

SINN FÉIN president Gerry Adams has said it is still all to play for in the Lisbon referendum campaign, despite a new opinion poll putting the no camp into a five-point lead.

Mr Adams rejected suggestions that there was no other option for the country if it rejected the Lisbon treaty in next week’s poll.

He said he was a man “used to negotiations” and believed if a deal was not right it should be rejected.
