Seven killed on roads over bank holiday weekend

TWO men died yesterday afternoon in a collision involving two motorcycles, near Listowel, Co Kerry, bringing to seven the number of people who died on the roads so far this bank holiday weekend.

A third man was injured in the crash and removed to Kerry General Hospital, Tralee, but his injuries are not life-threatening.

The crash occurred just outside the village of Finuge on a straight stretch of road leading to Lixnaw, at about 4.50pm.
