Students to work in Chernobyl

A GROUP of more than 20 University of Limerick students will travel later this week to Goradishche in Chernobyl where they will work in a number of orphanages and adult asylums.

The mission has been organised in association with the Burren Chernobyl Project.

The students, who are all undertaking health science programmes at UL such as nursing, physiotherapy and medicine, will do medical work with the children and patients as well as interacting with them on a daily basis.
