Upsurge in pipe bomb attacks

THE Army bomb disposal team was last night called out to examine a suspicious device found in Crumlin in Dublin which was thought to be a pipe bomb.

The alarm was raised at around 9pm after the device was found beneath a car on Kildare Road.

A large number of houses were evacuated and the area was been sealed off.
