Brothel ‘madame’ arrest: File being sent to DPP

GARDAÍ are preparing a file for the DPP following the arrest of an alleged brothel madame and the seizure of thousands of euro in cash.

The woman, said to be in her late 30s, was arrested on Tuesday evening after gardaí raided a flat in Cork city.

In the flat, at North Mall, they also found an eastern European woman. She was not arrested, but was helping gardaí with their inquiries.
