WIT teaching courses

THE continuing professional development of teachers in the south-east region has been given an injection of energy by Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT).

WIT’s School of Education and Professional Development provides training opportunities for qualified and prospective teachers with its suite of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in education.

According to adult and continuing education department head Mary Fenton, lifelong learning is “imperative” for teachers as it enables them to learn about developments in education whilst networking with fellow teachers.
