Monitoring for at-risk youths

ONE of the many innovative “vision” proposals is that each child in the regeneration estates be placed in a monitoring and tracking system.

This, it says, is to focus on the progress of at-risk under-18s and prevent them falling through the net.

The document adds: “This mechanism would identity those at risk of dropping out of mainstream services as well as identifying agencies and services required to support them. The agencies have begun the initial scoping brief for such a process.”
