Man dies after fall from roof outside apartment

A MAN watched in horror yesterday as his friend fell to his death from a roof outside an apartment.

The man in his 50s fell about 3.5m onto a concrete alley off Dock Street, in Passage West, Co Cork, and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 3am.

Gardaí said last night they are treating the incident as a tragicaccident.
