TDs and senators left frustrated after meeting with Drumm

FRUSTRATION was the common feeling among TDs and senators following their meeting with HSE chief executive Prof Brendan Drumm yesterday.

Several of those present said Prof Drumm appeared to be in “defensive mode” and the format of the meeting made it difficult to get “detailed answers”.

Between 70 and 80 TDs and senators were at the meeting, which began with an address by Prof Drumm and ended with a questions and answers session.
