Grealish plunges PD future in doubt

THE future of the PDs as a viable political party remained in the balance last night as one of its two TDs indicated he may jump ship.

Galway West TD Noel Grealish provoked the latest question marks to emerge over the party’s national relevance by announcing he had been engaged in informal talks regarding joining Fianna Fáil.

Mr Grealish said he would not leave the party immediately, despite having spoken about the matter with a senior FF minister. Mr Grealish said he had told the Minister he would “get back to him” on the matter.
