CONSUMERS could be sitting on a windfall worth €94 million if they have ever lived or worked in the North, it emerged yesterday.

Bank of Ireland’s Northern Ireland branches have £65m (€94m) sitting in 190,000 dormant accounts.

Yesterday, the bank launched a Funds Reunited campaign to get account holders to reclaim the money that is rightfully theirs.
