THE two main opposition parties will turn their fire on embattled Transport Minister Noel Dempsey when the Dáil resumes today after the October bank holiday break.

The front benches of Fine Gael and Labour meet this morning to decide on tactics ahead of today’s Dáil debate.

And while neither party has yet taken a decision, senior figures in both parties said last night that they would make Mr Dempsey’s gaffe over road safety the focus of their attack in the Dáil today.
