OPPOSITION parties yesterday rounded on Transport Minister Noel Dempsey to explain why his officials knew, six weeks before him, of Shannon’s fate.

At the start of Dáil business, Limerick East’s Jan O’Sullivan said it was critical the Mr Dempsey be called to make a full statement to the House.
