O’Keeffe has ‘no chance’ of job

REBEL Fianna Fáil TD Ned O’Keeffe has no chance of being awarded the chairmanship of an Oireachtas committee, the Government has said.

Government chief whip Tom Kitt ruled out the prospect of promotion for Mr O’Keeffe yesterday.

“No, there’s no question of him getting anything like that,” he told TV3’s The Political Party programme.
