High-profile campaign needed to combat drugs, minister says

A HIGH-PROFILE media campaign is being developed to raise awareness of drugs among young people.

Drugs Strategy Minister Pat Carey said he was discussing the matter with people involved in youth marketing and entertainment.

He said an awareness campaign was desperately needed which would be “of interest” to young people.
