Ryanair plans three Shannon flights

RYANAIR has said it will launch three daily flights between Shannon and London if Aer Lingus does not reverse its stance on moving Heathrow slots to Belfast.

The company’s chief executive Michael O’Leary made the announcement in Shannon where he said if Aer Lingus moves to Belfast it will target 330,000 extra passengers a year.

However, he said his preference was to see Aer Lingus keep its Heathrow flights at Shannon.
