Ex-mayor peeved over toilet cameras

A €10 MILLION superpub in Cork has installed cameras in its toilets, much to the upset of a city father.

The cameras, which look like smoke detectors, have been installed in the toilets of the trendy Soho bar and restaurant in Grand Parade.

The sight of one directly above a urinal so upset a former Lord Mayor of Cork that he reported the incident to the Data Protection Commissioner (DPC), who will investigate.
