Airport launches website to target potential passengers
Fresh from announcing last week’s 45% increase in passenger numbers for the first six months of the year, the airport’s new website incorporates a fresher take on their logo and introduces images from an upcoming advertising campaign.
It also includes additional user-friendly features such as direct link bookings to partner airlines; timetables for incoming as well as outgoing flights; and a section dedicated to airport news.
For holidaymakers who like to plan ahead, a new “destinations” section highlights must-do activities and key attractions in all of the seven destinations that can be reached directly from Waterford Airport, including the “Cadbury’s factory” in Birmingham, the world’s first entertainment complex dedicated entirely to chocolate.
New advertising images at the top of each page reflect the airport’s focus on customer convenience and commitment to adding new routes as part of its overall development campaign.
Waterford Airport chief executive Graham Doyle said that the new-look website “heralds a new growth phase” for the airport “adding lots of new features that will go towards providing a fuller experience for journey makers in the South-East. Similarly, our logo has been enhanced in keeping with the development of the airport and we look forward to the roll-out of our new advertising campaign on key ad sites around the region.”
