FORMER environment minister Dick Roche lobbied the Justice Department to have two amusement arcades in Dublin closed.

Mr Roche argued they were operating without a licence and affecting the business of legitimate arcades in his Wicklow constituency.

All such illegal operators should be “put out of business”, he argued.
