Transition year option extended

A FURTHER 20 second-level schools plan to offer students the transition year option for the upcoming school year.

The Department of Education has received applications from the schools ahead of last month’s deadline, but these are still being assessed.

“They must demonstrate their commitment and how they propose to deliver transition year, including the type of resources that might be used,” a spokesperson said.
