AFTER their glitzy €3 million wedding today in Co Limerick, newlyweds Sue Ann McManus and Cian Foley plan to make a new life in California, it was learned last night.

McManus couple to set up LA home

Cian, a native of Killorglin, Co Kerry, has left his job with Limerick auctioneers Chessers to manage the vast property portfolio his father-in-law to be JPMcManus has in Los Angeles.

Tomorrow the couple will fly from Shannon by private jet for a two-week honeymoon in Barbados, where they will stay in the Sandy Lane hotel which Mr McManus part owns.

The couple will be married in Martinstown church at 2pm with only immediate family and a number of friends present.

Huge security has been put in place at Martinstown Stud where the reception begins at 6pm. Hundreds of people were last night putting the final touches to a vast marquee to hold the floral arrangements which will be put in place today.

For security reasons each of the 1,500 guests has been issued with their own personal identity card.

A private security firm has been brought in to prevent gatecrashers entering the 450-acre grounds.
