Festival in aid of visiting Ukraine children

TABLE soccer, a giant gladiator jousting bed, a rodeo bull and a hotel that turns into a casino… and that’s just for the adults.

Children will be catered for too in a festival that will see five live bands perform in Macroom over the weekend.

The Mid-Cork Midsummer Festival is planned by the Mid-Cork Outreach Group of the Chernobyl Children’s Project International and will take place from July 6 to 8. It celebrates the arrival of the first group of children from Chernobyl hosted by the Chernobyl project’s newest group.
