Fianna Fáil collocation plan ‘fails to add up’

FIANNA Fáil used its last press conference of the election campaign to launch a final attack on Fine Gael’s policy platform.

But the conference rapidly turned sour for the party when quizzed about the price of its hospital collocation plan.

Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern said Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny’s Contract for a Better Ireland had been “exposed as a cynical gesture rather than a serious programme”.
