Time for change as Hobbs says Bertie is devoid of vision

CONSUMER affairs campaigner Eddie Hobbs said this weekend that Taoiseach Bertie Ahern needs to be changed.

Mr Hobbs, the so-called people’s champion, told the Green Party conference that Mr Ahern was “completely devoid of any vision or direction as to where we are going as a society.”

He said that the Taoiseach had been a good consensus manager of the Irish economy over a period, but now needed to be changed.
