Feud murders
July 18, 2002: Joseph Rattigan, 18, from Drimnagh, who was in a rival gang to Declan Gavin, was shot dead on Cooley Road in Drimnagh, in revenge.
February 25, 2004: In retaliation for Rattigan’s death, Paul Warren, 24, from Teresa’s Gardens flat complex in the south inner city, was shot dead in a local pub by two attackers.
March 9, 2005: John Roche, 24, from Crumlin was gunned down in Kilmainham in the south inner city.
November 13, 2005: In a double killing, Darren Geoghegan, 26, from Drimnagh, and Gavin Byrne, 30, from Firhouse, were shot dead in Firhouse, south Dublin.
August 19: Wayne Zambra, 21, was shot dead on Cameron Street, the Liberties, in Dublin’s south inner city.
Gardaí suspect he may have been killed over a drug debt.
September 26, 2006: Gary Bryan, 31, from Tallaght, was shot dead outside his girlfriend’s house in Walkinstown. He had been charged in connection with Paul Warren’s murder and may have been killed in retaliation.
