FF in line for overall majority

AN OVERALL majority could be within reach for Fianna Fáil after this year’s General Election, according to the findings of the latest opinion poll.

The latest tracking poll delivers a stunningly strong showing for Fianna Fáil and for Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.

It shows Fianna Fáil enjoying 42% support — a three point jump, and the same figure as 2002.
