FF or bust for PDs, says Tánaiste

TÁNAISTE Michael McDowell last night tied the Progressive Democrats to a ‘Fianna Fáil or bust’ strategy.

By categorically ruling out for any post-election deal with a Fine Gael/Labour-led coalition, he indicated that a future role in government for his party would be inextricably linked with Fianna Fáil.

He also seemed to rule out any involvement with the Green Party. Unsurprisingly, perhaps, he also utterly rejected Sinn Féin.
