A NEW chapter will unfold at Limerick Institute of Technology today enhancing links between the lecture hall and the workplace.

College beckons budding entrepreneurs

French born Jan Blanchard, who has forged a career in the tourism industry, becomes the first entrant to the LIT Enterprise Acceleration Centre (EAC) — built at a cost of €3.1 million.

The centre will encourage budding entrepreneurs to get their projects off the ground at the new facility under a new programme called LEAP.
