UCC under fire over parking chaos at college

MUNSTER’S biggest third-level college was under fire last night for failing to tackle chronic parking problems at its sprawling city campus.

University College Cork was also criticised for driving ahead with massive building projects without providing adequate parking.

Work on UCC’s €60 million IT building on the former greyhound track on the Western Road, which will include dozens of lecture rooms, is ongoing. It will have a 150-space car park.
