Bertie stars as social butterfly in Dáil Royale

YOU’D think that being on the tack for the month would mean a quiet as well as a dry November for Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.

But it seems he’s been in more all-action scrapes, and doing more whirling on the social scene than Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.

First Bertie arrives into the Dáil bleeding from his left ear, so much so that he has to take a handkerchief out to mop up the blood.
