A STYLISH city centre bar was toasted at Cork’s top building design awards ceremony yesterday.

SoHo, on Grand Parade, was named the judges’ winner of the Cork City Centre Better Building Awards.

They said the 16,000 square foot, glass-fronted bar designed by award-winning architect Frank O’Mahony of Wilson Architects, is a “brave intervention benefiting and positively impacting on the general environment of the area”.
