TWO Irish authors have been longlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award 2007.

Two Irish authors in contention for prestigious award

John Banville has been nominated for his novel The Sea, while Sebastian Barry has made the list for his novel A Long Long Way.

The International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award is worth €100,000 and is the world’s largest literary prize for a single work of fiction. Last year, Colm Toibin was the first Irish winner for his novel The Master.
