THE Donegal fishing port of Killybegs will come to a standstill tomorrow evening when the remains of its most successful fishing industry boss, Kevin McHugh, are returned for burial.

The millionaire businessman, who owned the Atlantic Dawn Group, died in the Mater Hospital in Dublin on Tuesday night where he had been receiving treatment for the past few months after taking ill suddenly last summer.

His remains will be removed to St Mary’s Church, Killybegs this evening and his burial will take place after 11am Mass on Friday. Chief mourners will include his wife, Vera, their three grown-up sons, Paul, Karl and Kevin, and their daughter, Noreen.
