‘Glitch’ prompts removal of HSE reports

THE Health Service Executive (HSE) has said there was “nothing sinister” in the removal of several reports on nursing homes from its website yesterday.

A spokesman said the unavailability of the reports was temporary and due to a technical glitch.

The HSE is responsible for carrying out inspections of private nursing homes and has begun placing the reports of such inspections online so that the public can view them.
