ONE of Dublin’s landmark buildings, Liberty Hall, headquarters of the country’s largest union SIPTU, looks set to be demolished.

The union confirmed it plans to knock down the capital’s tallest tower and rebuild on the site.

SIPTU chiefs are to consult the lord mayor, city planners, union members and councillors before a final decision is made.
