Findings of port company’s internal inquiry to be made available

FINDINGS of a major internal inquiry at Shannon Foynes Port Company will be available shortly, an emergency board meeting was told on Sunday.

Board members were given an update on the investigation being carried out by a retired senior civil servant into allegations made by a port customer.

It is believed that Sunday’s lengthy meeting was told that the internal investigation was now almost complete and a statement on the findings was imminent.
