Students get course lifeline with upgrades
Of almost 9,500 individual grades sent to the State Examinations Commission (SEC), 2,004 have resulted in upgrades. The students involved have been notified of their successful appeals through the SEC website.
The commission sent the updated results for almost 1,800 college applicants to the Central Applications Office (CAO) earlier this week. The CAO has subsequently recalculated those students’ points scores and identified 308 whose new totals qualify them for an honours bachelors degree offer from their original list of preferred courses.
