INFORMATION packs on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse are being issued to parents and publicans in Killarney in advance of celebrations expected to follow the Junior Cert results.

The Killarney Drugs Liaison Committee is sending 350 copies of an awareness/information pack to parents and a further 50 to pubs and off-licence owners in the town.

The move coincides with the release of the exam results, next Wednesday.
