Cover star: Suri makes her debut

WITH a cherubic face and a shock of dark hair, Suri Cruise has made a splash with her first public appearance — in a 22-page photo spread in Vanity Fair magazine.

The four-and-a-half month-old daughter of actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, born on April 18, had not appeared in any published photographs, prompting speculation about her very existence.

German TV station RTL produced a composite image of what she might look like, while celebrity gossip website TMZ.com obtained a copy of her birth certificate.
