Asthma sufferers urged to live life

SEPTEMBER is Asthma Control Month and the Asthma Society of Ireland want the country’s 470,000 sufferers to take control of their condition to ensure they are getting the most out of life.

Asthma sufferers urged to live life

The society enlisted the help of three leading GAA stars who despite suffering from asthma are part of sides who compete at the highest level, to highlight how the condition need not be a barrier to living a full and active life if it is managed.

The three stars; Kilkenny’s Martin Comerford; Dublin’s Colin Moran and Kerry’s Tommy Griffin joined forces with Offaly referee, Brian Gavin to climb the 24-foot climbing wall at the IFSC to officially launch the month’s events.
