He said any such speculation clouded the real choice facing the electorate.

In contrast to Foreign Affairs Minister Dermot Ahern, who told the Irish Examiner this week that Fianna Fáil could conceivably do business with the Greens, Mr Brennan yesterday said the election would be a straight choice between the Coalition and the Fine Gael-Labour alliance.
