Gardaí appeal to CCTV trio in stabbing probe

GARDAÍ investigating the killing of a young mother in Cork over the weekend issued an appeal last night for three specific people to contact them.

The people were spotted yesterday on CCTV footage taken from the Blackpool area, close to the house where the body of Jessica Prendergast, 21, was found in the early hours of Saturday morning.

They could help gardaí piece together the tragic chain of events which led to the woman’s death.
