Archbishop Martin calls for broad right-to-life debate

THE Archbishop of Dublin yesterday called for a broad public right-to-life debate.

Dr Diarmuid Martin’s comments came as an estranged Dublin couple began a major legal battle over the fate of three frozen embryos.

“In a world in which the possibilities to play with life have grown, the call to absolute respect for human life is more valid than ever,” he said.
