Revellers ready for Dylan delight

FESTIVAL revellers across the south-east are gearing up for the Kilkenny Source Festival tomorrow, a massive concert weekend which sees Bob Dylan return to the region for the second time.

The Kilkenny Source Festival 2006 sees Bob Dylan, The Flaming Lips, Violent Femmes, Ray LaMontagne and Mundy in Nowlan Park coming together on the Saturday.

Tickets for the gig have been selling fast and furious but a handful do remain and are priced at €50, €55, €60, €65 and €70 from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.

A Bob Dylan Train makes the festival all the more exciting and accessible.

The ‘Bob Train’, travels to and from Kilkenny on Saturday, leaving Heuston Station, Dublin, at 10.30am.

It will depart Kilkenny station at 12 midnight — one hour after the show to arrive back in Dublin at 1.35am. Return train tickets are priced at €45 and are available from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.

Kilkenny will have just a week to recover before Andrea Bocelli plays at the same venue on Sunday of next weekend.
