Shell gas delay

THE full hearing of a legal challenge to the construction of the controversial gas pipeline near Rossport in Co Mayo will not be ready to proceed before October next, the High Court heard yesterday.

Pat Hanratty SC, for Shell, said it was almost certain, given the issues involved, that the case would be not ready until then.
