Phone masts destroying our lives, campaigners tell Oireachtas committee

MOBILE phone masts are accountable for adverse health effects on residents nationwide, it was claimed yesterday.

Members of IERVN (Irish Electromagnetic Radiation Victims’ Network) recounted their daily sufferings to the Joint Committee on Health and Children in Leinster House.

Group spokesman Con Colbert said electro sensitivity was not just an Irish phenomenon but a global one, with people suffering from physical pain and discomfort worldwide.
