POLITICIANS are in line for annual salary increases ranging from €2,000 to €6,000 as a direct result of the Budget.

Mr McCreevy’s decision to fund public service pay increases in the benchmarking report means all elected representatives are in line for a 12% salary increase.

One quarter of this money is set to be paid up front soon.
